​I partner with clients who are tired of quick-fixes and are ready for lasting change. While I do work with clients of all ages, I am passionate about helping women age 45-55 increase energy, lose weight and reduce brain fog through healthy lifestyle changes. So many of us are focused on family, careers and the stresses of daily life, that our own health takes a back seat. I get it. As a stay-at-home mom of 3 and frequent relocations for our family, my full-time job was kids - schedules, appointments, play dates, making sure they were happy in a new area, keeping them fed with healthy meals, taking care of them when they were sick. And of course all the packing, moving, unpacking, then doing it again a few years later. I was exhausted and not sleeping well, my own health and happiness was suffering. I knew what I needed to do, but that wasn't enough.

 

Once I really learned the skills of being an effective coach for others through meaningful conversations, creating powerful wellness visions and goal setting tools, I was able to apply this to my own life and make a huge impact on my own health and wellness. It's not about the health knowledge, but how we are able to effectively apply that knowledge in a way that works for us.

​I have been working in health and fitness for over 25 years. I have a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from Iowa State University and an M.P.H. in Community Public Health from New York University. I am a DSWI Master Certified Health Coach and NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I'm constantly wanting to learn new skills to help my clients be successful and am currently working towards becoming a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) this July.

Work With Me

As a health coach, I believe that you are the expert of your own health and you have the ability to make positive changes. My role is to offer guidance, support, education and tools, but you are in control of your wellness journey.

 

Through self reflection, you will gain a deeper understanding of your values, goals and challenges. This process will allow us to focus on building long-term habits rather than quick fixes, empowering you to create sustainable healthy habits, feel good and re-gain your confidence.

With my deep knowledge of fitness, we can further enhance your results through creating a personalized exercise program to align with your goals, as well as private or group personal training.
